What is 2nd life IT ?

Through the 2nd life TI program, NOVIPRO puts its 30 years of IT expertise to work for the community.

For our first edition, we invited Quebec NPOs to enter a contest to win a set of computers carefully restored by NOVIPRO professionals. A simple but meaningful gesture in line with our values.

2nd life IT is coming back soon for its second edition, stay tuned for its launch on our social media.

At NOVIPRO, we believe in the positive impact of technology. By donating restored computers to NPOs, we're supporting the project of a lifetime, giving it the means to impact the lives of thousands of others.

Green

At NOVIPRO, technology rhymes with sustainability. That's why we've taken the initiative to reduce our environmental footprint, notably by maximizing the lifespan of our computers. 2nd life IT by NOVIPRO is also an opportunity to reduce the amount of waste produced while helping affected communities.

Collective

Unity is at the heart of all our daily projects. Through 2nd life IT, we aim to forge strong links between NOVIPRO and causes that inspire hope. This collaboration aims to support non-profit organizations dedicated to the well-being of our local communities. In today's social context, it's important to give more support to associations so that they can do more.

Discover 2nd life IT's 1st edition winners

For the 1st edition of our 2nd life IT contest, our teams carefully restored 20 computers, hand-delivered to the 3 winning Quebec NPOs.

NOVIPRO as a whole congratulates:

  • Ma Deuxième Maison à Moi, an organization providing services for relatives of people on the autism spectrum or with intellectual disabilities
  • Moisson Laurentides, a food bank in partnership with other community organizations
  • La Cantine pour tous, an organization fighting food insecurity among Quebec youth and seniors

Registration

December 2024

Register your NPO via our form.

Restoration

December 2024 to May 2025

Our team of experts will be renovating, repairing, securing and preparing computers for a 2nd life, to ensure a longer life for the equipment we distribute.

Selection of the NPO finalists

April 2025

Our internal Community Initiatives Committee will nominate 3 NPOs whose values and objectives support causes close to the hearts of NOVIPRO employees.

Communication of the winning NPO

May 2025

The winning NPO will be chosen at random and announced on NOVIPRO's Facebook and LinkedIn pages.
